19 Days Sit In Program: Visiting National Monument and Kota Tua Jakarta

Monas is the official national monument of the Republic of Indonesia, built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence. From Monas, they took a free-tourism double decker bus and visited Kota Tua Jakarta. It is a popular destination and its main attraction is Fatahillah Hall, an open space area surrounded by colonial buildings. There, they do some museum hopping and stroll around the outdoor area.
By exploring some tourism destination in Tegal, Brebes and Jakarta, they have an enjoyable experience during their stay. It is also certainly helps them to try local foods and learn a few words in local language and interact with locals. This cultural activity is in line with their major at Hatyai Univesity, Department of Tourism, and is expected to enrich their perspective about Indonesia.
